Meet the Founder

Peter P. Soltys, PhD

Peter P. Soltys, PhD is a leadership strategist focused on high-pressure, complex operating environments.

He integrates doctoral-level research with more than two decades of large-scale program leadership—translating identity, emotional intelligence, high-trust team dynamics, and collective leadership culture into disciplined execution.

Raised behind the Iron Curtain in Poland, Peter developed a deep understanding of resilience, discipline, and earned authority—long before any professional title.

After immigrating to the United States with no English, he built his career through accountability, continuous learning, and performance under pressure—forming the leadership philosophy that defines his work today.

Over the past two decades, he has led multimillion-dollar programs across diverse markets, delivering results in complex, high-stakes environments.

His core belief is simple:
People—not positions—create results.

His doctoral research in Emotional Intelligence (EI), Leader–Team Trust Dynamics™ (based on LMX), and Collective Leadership Culture™ (based on collectivism) forms the foundation of his leadership model—translating academic rigor into practical clarity in real-world operations.

In addition to leading large-scale programs, Peter has taught in master’s and doctoral leadership programs—refining his ability to convert complex leadership theory into decisive action.

He is the author of From Accent to Authority, a memoir and leadership philosophy that bridges his immigrant journey with the realities of leading in complex, fast-moving organizations.

Across his writing, teaching, and leadership work, one principle remains constant:
Strong leadership begins with strong identity.

“Authority is built through identity, connection, and consistent action.”

Who We Are

Built at the intersection of doctoral leadership research and real-world construction execution.

“From the Rector Street Bridge after 9/11 — where resilience and purpose took shape.”

Peter P. Soltys, PhD, is a construction leadership strategist and executive advisor specializing in high-pressure performance environments.

For more than two decades, he has led multimillion-dollar construction programs across multiple markets, advised executive teams, and designed leadership systems that strengthen alignment, sharpen execution, and elevate accountability across complex organizations.

He applies leadership research directly inside complex construction operations — converting identity, emotional intelligence, and trust dynamics into measurable execution performance through a blend of academic depth and field-tested judgment.

Soltys Leadership provides executive coaching, strategic advisory, and performance architecture development for construction leaders nationwide.
Backed by doctoral research in Emotional Intelligence (EI), Leader–Team Trust Dynamics™ (based on LMX), and Collective Leadership Culture™ (based on Collectivism), our approach translates academic rigor into practical performance gains—from the field to the executive suite.

Our work is anchored in Identity-Driven Leadership™ and the I-ACE Leadership Framework™—four pillars of Identity, Alignment, Connection, and Execution—built on a foundational belief:

Leadership authority is not granted by title. It is built through identity, alignment, trust, and disciplined execution.

We advise leaders operating in environments where execution failure carries financial, operational, and reputational costs.

Our work strengthens the four structural pillars of sustainable construction leadership performance:

Identity — Leadership clarity anchored in lived experience and emotional intelligence.

Identity becomes the stabilizing force under pressure.

Alignment — Shared direction and cohesion across cross-functional teams and leadership levels

Alignment eliminates friction and accelerates execution.

Connection — Trust-based influence built through high-quality leader–team relationships.

This reflects our research in Leader–Team Trust Dynamics™.

Execution — Decisive, disciplined performance under pressure.

Execution becomes the natural outcome of identity + alignment + connection.

Together, these pillars create structural stability — from the jobsite to the executive suite.

Leadership is tested under pressure.
Authority is built long before the pressure arrives.
